a place to breathe, listen and return.
Iām Nicola Griffiths, founder of Breathfolk
Breathfolk is a contemporary breath-led practice exploring breath as a way of listening, gathering and being with what is present.
Through breath, sound and shared presence, I create spaces to slow down and pay attention to the breath, the body, ourselves and one another.
The work sits between care practice and artistic process, informed by lived experience, an arts background and a commitment to grounded care.
Some of this work also takes shape through Grown Ass Women Collective (GAWC), a dedicated space for women of colour to breathe, rest and gather in community.
